Detecting attackers in real-time requires a high-performance suite of software that enables machine learning and statistical techniques. You will be joining a well established highly productive team that is tasked with building high value product features. This presents a unique opportunity to get onboard to learn new technologies and also contribute to shape the processes and practices of the team, as well as the technical architecture and delivery. Our team works in a hybrid set up from the Dublin office.
At a Glance- Translate product requirements and concepts into software designs and implementation taking scalability, performance, operational effort and cost into consideration
- Work with other groups including Product Management, UX, Security Research and Data Science to help customers simplify security
- Provide technical leadership in addition to mentoring and encouraging other engineers
- 2+ years experience with JavaScript, HTML, CSS and at least one major web framework such as React, Vue, Angular, Ember (we use Ember)
- 1+ years experience with a backend api framework (eg django, rails, .Net MVC, CakePhp - we use django)
- Knowledge of software design principles and leading software development practices
- Strong communication & collaboration skills
- Willingness to get things done, take initiative and challenge existing assumptions and conventions
- Experience working with Python
- Experience working with SQL to query data
- Experience working with Cloud architecture (AWS)
- Experience working with containers (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Experience developing bespoke data visualisations
- Expertise in automated testing, and continuous integration and deployment tools
- Knowledge of Cybersecurity
- B.S or M.S or Ph.D. in Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
