Position Overview
Autodesk Data Platform (ADP) provides a centralized data and analytics platform for entire Autodesk’s products, services, and business needs. The ADP Stream Processing System team is looking for a Software Engineer to join a very talented and seasoned engineering team.
Responsibilities
-
Develop and maintain robust and scalable back-end applications using Java
-
Develop and manage data pipelines using Flink and Kafka for real-time data processing and integration
-
Design, develop, and maintain RESTful APIs to enable seamless interaction between various components of the system
-
Design and implement microservices
-
Utilize cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure for deploying and managing applications
-
Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code, adhering to best practices and coding standards
-
Conduct unit testing and integration testing to ensure code quality and reliability
-
Develop automation for Integration and System testing
-
Work closely with front-end developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutions
Minimum Qualifications
-
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
-
Proficiency in Java and related frameworks e.g., Spring, Hibernate
-
Strong knowledge of SQL and experience with databases like PostgreSQL
-
Experience with Kafka for real-time data streaming
-
Expertise in designing and implementing RESTful APIs
-
Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
-
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
-
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
-
Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment
-
Familiarity with containerisation tools like Docker
-
Knowledge of CI/CD tools and practices
-
Experience with monitoring and logging tools for cloud services
-
Experience with Testing frameworks
Preferred Qualifications

Salary is one part of Autodesk’s competitive compensation package. Offers are based on the candidate’s experience and geographic location.
