The Data Team is solving significant engineering challenges as we expand from processing thousands to millions of loans, at more and more lending organizations, and over an increasingly large part of the lifecycle of each loan. We are engineers who care deeply about shipping the best experience possible the first time.
The challenges we face are highly technical and highly impactful for other engineering teams in the company! We are looking for engineers who are passionate about self service infrastructure, service mesh, performance, security, and scalability. We are looking for a strong collaborator who is willing to work with platform development teams to understand their needs, design solutions that fulfill their immediate needs but that also establish good patterns for long-term scalability.
How You’ll Contribute:
- Design and build distributed systems for long-term scalability and maintainability
- Collaborate with feature development teams to understand their needs from the platform
- Architect solutions that establish good patterns and fulfill development team needs
- Automate, design, scale our growing data platform
- Monitor production systems for issues
Who You Are:
- You have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- Coding experience with any major language, like Go, Python, etc
- Excellent communication and leadership skills for collaborating with other teams
- Solid experience and understanding of maintainable distributed systems
- Ability and willingness to help others succeed and be productive
For full time hires, the hiring base pay range for this position is between $91,000 and $124,000. Beyond base pay, Blend benefits and perks are described below.
Final base pay offer amounts will vary depending on multiple factors, including but not limited to function, level, geographic location, job related knowledge, skills, and experience. Base pay will be adjusted for part-time roles to reflect scheduled hours.
