Role Summary
T. Rowe Price seeks a Software Engineer in Owings Mills, MD to:
- Develop and maintain critical applications to serve our Plans and Participants.
- Analyze application business requirements, understand the user interface needs and business logic needs, and implement solutions.
- Perform analysis and design of data and business services, mapped to business requirements for in-house builds.
- Provide documented options and benefits/risks that can be used as input into project decisions related to the final BI Design.
Qualifications
Required:
- Position requires a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electronic Engineering, or related technical field PLUS
- 2+ years of programming or software development experience.
- Requires 2+ years of experience in Java or Python programming language, log4j, XML, JSON, Junit or other unit testing software, SQL, and Unix/Linux.
- Requires 2+ years of experience working with AWS Services – S3, Lambda, EMR, and SQS.
FINRA Requirements
FINRA licenses are not required and will not be supported for this role.
Work Flexibility
This role is eligible for hybrid work, with up to three days per week from home.

$97,614.00-$158,500.00 for the location of: Maryland, Colorado, Washington and remote workers
$97,614.00-$158,500.00 for the location of: Washington, D.C.
$97,614.00-$158,500.00 for the location of: New York, California
Placement within the range provided above is based on the individual’s relevant experience and skills for the role. Base salary is only one component of our total compensation package. Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus, which is determined upon company and individual performance.
