About this role

We’re looking for a hands-on and passionate engineer to join our growing team in Karachi. This role is ideal for someone with solid software engineering experience, strong problem-solving skills, and a desire to contribute to impactful projects. You will work closely with other engineers, tackle technical challenges, and help deliver high-quality solutions.

In this job, you’ll…

• Contribute to backend development, system design, and architecture.
• Participate in code reviews, debugging, and resolving technical issues.
• Implement best practices in software development, including CI/CD and testing frameworks.
• Work with cross-functional teams on system scalability, performance, and reliability.
• Ensure the technical solutions you build are scalable, maintainable, and of high quality.
• Collaborate with other engineers to make informed decisions on technology choices and frameworks.
• Engage in continuous learning and improvement to refine your skills and expertise.

We’re looking for…

• Experience in backend development, with a focus on JavaScript, NodeJS, and TypeScript.
• Practical experience with system design and building scalable solutions.
• Strong problem-solving skills, focusing on technical challenges and code quality.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, testing frameworks, and DevOps practices.
• A passion for technology, with an interest in staying current with industry trends.
• Good communication skills, able to explain technical concepts and collaborate with teams.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with Flutter.
• Experience with React.
• Interest in database design, DevOps practices, and testing frameworks.
• Experience with observability and monitoring in technical systems.
• Experience working with serverless technologies in AWS or Azure.
