Job Description

Key responsibilities:

  • Software development (analysis, design, implementation, testing) in the area of lottery terminals
  • Development and maintenance of OS, HW abstractions, device drivers (C++) and services C++
  • Integration and maintenance of 3rd party HW drivers, OS services and APIs
  • Support and assistance in the test / operation of the products in terms of improvements/ fixes.
  • Responsibility for agreed parts of the architecture of our lottery products in the context of the development
  • Continuous improvement of our development environment and auto test including development processes and tools based on lessons learned. Effective contribution to our ISO 9001,14001 and World Lottery Association based certified Integrated Management System for SW delivery.
  • Maintain effective communication with test engineers and customer support team to correct defects and improve the product including effective ad hoc troubleshooting.
  • Maintain effective communication with requirements engineers and sales team to improve the product and materialize sales opportunities.

Requirements:

  • Graduate of an IT field at a technical college or university
  • Minimum 2 years of software development engineer experience required.
  • Very good programming skills in C / C++ and JAVA implementation of software solutions on Linux
  • Experience in scripting languages in Linux/Unix (bash, python, js, etc.)
  • Experience in Linux driver development and / or system level programming is an advantage.
  • Experience with JNI, cmake, Git, Jenkins is required; protobuf and REST transaction, also boost lib experience is an advantage.
  • Good English skills: German is an advantage
