A day as a Backend Software Engineer at bGenius - Kinesso:
You start your day attending the stand-up of the development team, seeing if anybody needs help and everything is on track, whether remotely or in the office. Every other Friday involves wrapping up the last story point, taking part in the company-wide demo showcasing this sprint's achievements. During lunch that day we celebrate the successful sprint with fries.
Post-lunch you dive into two key tasks: Retrospective and (personal) improvement. This could involve helping team members, refining processes, exploring new technologies or addressing complex challenges. Spotting an invite for the poker meeting next week, you accept and wind down for the weekend with drinks and snacks, proud of another week of impactful contributions.
