Job Description
DESCRIPTION:
Duties: Design, develop and implementation of software solutions. Solve business problems through innovation and engineering practices. Involved in all aspects of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) including analyzing requirements, incorporating architectural standards into application design specifications, documenting application specifications, translating technical requirements into programmed application modules, and developing or enhancing software application modules. Deploy applications in cloud through Command Line Interface commands and Jules/Jenkins pipeline. Identify application code- related issues. Take active role in code reviews to ensure solutions are aligned to pre-defined architectural specifications. Assist with design reviews by recommending ways to incorporate requirements into designs and information or data flows.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum education and experience required: Bachelor's degree in Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering or related field of study plus five (5) years of experience in the job offered or as Software Developer, Software Engineer, Programmer Analyst or related occupation. The employer will alternatively accept a Master's degree in Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering or related field of study plus three (3) years of experience in the job offered or as a Software Developer, Software Engineer, Programmer Analyst or related occupation.
Skills Required: Requires experience in the following: Cloud Services such as AWS or Azure; Docker; Hibernate; Java; JSON; Maven; Oracle; Spark; SVN; UNIX; Bootstrap; Dynatrace; Junit; Microservices; Performance Testing; REST; Splunk; Apache Kafka; Jenkins; Kubernetes; SOAP and REST web services; Spring Framework; WebSphere; Apache Tomcat; J2EE; Software Development; SQL; XML; Spring; SpringBoot; Spring Batch; JMS; and Pivotal cloud.
Job Location: 880 Powder Mill Rd., Wilmington, DE 19803. Telecommuting permitted up to 40% of the week.
