Overview
 

We are seeking a talented Full Stack Software Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will contribute to high-impact initiatives, collaborate closely with product design, engineering, and management teams, and build world-class web applications and SDKs for our customers.

Role and Responsibilities

• Partner with our distributed cross-functional teams (Product, Engineering, Infrastructure, Computer Vision, Data Science) to conceptualize and develop new features and products in an agile environment.

• Work on end-to-end delivery of software components, from development to production, owning team features or key system components under the guidance and mentorship of senior team members.

• Write high-quality code, optimizing for user experience, performance, scalability, security, and maintainability.

• Tackle a wide range of challenging technical problems with continuous guidance and mentorship.

• Participate in design and implementation discussions for our backend and client applications.

• Participate in the on-call rotation, triaging and resolving production issues, and addressing bugs.

• Assist other engineers in building scalable products and APIs, producing high-quality results with direct business impact.

Required Qualifications 

• BS or higher in Computer Science or a related technical field.

• 2+ years of experience in software engineering with strong full stack development expertise.

• Proficiency in our tech stack: JavaScript, TypeScript, React, WebGL, Canvas API, WebSockets, Java, Go.

• Understanding of engineering best practices and a proactive approach to improving engineering standards, tooling, and processes.

• Ability to develop operational knowledge of any new technology or language as needed for the job.

• Customer-first mindset with the ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly.

• Comfort working within agile methodologies in a global, cross-functional, collaborative team environment.

• Excellent collaboration and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Strong experience in responsive web design across different browsers, desktop and mobile platforms, and various devices and screen sizes.

• Strong experience in rendering complex graphics and performance optimization.

• Strong experience with AWS, CI/CD, observability tools, and other cloud services.

• Strong experience with SDLC tools and processes, including source control, test automation, and build solutions.

• Experience working on Machine Learning, Computer Vision, Generative AI, or LLM projects in production environments.

Additional Notes

• This is a remote position based in the US.

Salary Disclosure:Base Salary range: $115,000 - $135,000

This represents the expected salary range for this job requisition. Final offers may vary from the amount listed based on factors including geography, candidate experience and expertise, and other job related factors. Socure's compensation and rewards package for full time roles includes a market competitive salary, equity, comprehensive benefits, and, for applicable roles, commissions plans or an annual discretionary performance bonus.
