We are looking for a Software Engineer to join our team and contribute to a pivotal aerospace software development project. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in embedded systems and a deep understanding of DO-178 standards. Aerospace experience is a MUST.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop comprehensive documentation and create detailed low-level requirements for existing C code, ensuring adherence to DO-178 standards.
Monitor and enforce DO-178 compliance throughout all stages of the software development process, from requirements gathering to final delivery.
Involved in the design, development, and maintenance of low-level drivers in embedded C for aerospace applications, ensuring adherence to the highest quality benchmarks.
Qualifications:

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a closely related discipline.
Minimum of 4 years’ experience in technical program management with a focus on embedded systems and aerospace industry standards.
Proven expertise with DO-178 standards and their integration into the software development lifecycle.
Strong command of C programming, with a particular emphasis on developing low-level drivers for embedded systems.
Excellent problem-solving abilities, with a proven track record of making informed decisions in dynamic environments.
Exceptional communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:

Prior experience in the aerospace sector or with other safety-critical systems.
Additional knowledge of other aerospace standards and regulations is a plus.

Salary Range: $110,000-145,000

The actual salary offered is dependent on various factors including, but not limited to, location, the candidate’s combination of job-related knowledge, qualifications, skills, education, training, and experience
