Job Overview
Applied Systems, Inc., a worldwide leader in insurance technology, is currently searching for a to join our team. In this role, you will work in an Agile Scrum team to develop our industry-leading Applied Epic software product using , as well as maintain or enhance legacy features using VB.NET. You will collaborate with Product Owners and Scrum team members to deliver high-quality technical solutions that answer our client's business requirements. We are looking for developers to deliver clean, well-written, enterprise-scale applications.

• Become a dedicated participant of your Agile Scrum team and collaborate with other members on the Agile Scrum team to self-manage feature development to completion
• Collaborate with Application, Enterprise, and Test Architects on technical solutions
• Participate in sprint reviews of completed functionality at the end of each sprint
• Create unit and functional tests during code development
• Identify and communicate possible improvements in the process
• Mentor and guide junior-level developers

We're looking for someone who:

• Can work remotely or from an Applied Systems office.

Your experience should include some or all of the following:

• 3+ years of experience creating enterprise software using
• Familiar with Agile frameworks, ideally Scrum or Kanban using tools like Jira and Confluence
• Ability to communicate in a team-oriented environment to clarify requirements and deliver solutions within committed timelines
• Ability to provide feedback on coding standards through code reviews
• Proven technical abilities, troubleshooting skills, and research abilities
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, MIS, or CIS, or equivalent work experience

• Experience with Gitlab, Cypress, Go, Angular, Kubernetes, or containerization
