The ADAS team supports the definition, design, and development of continuously improving mobility services. The AV organization works on AV software, Infotainment Services, AI-based Apps, Energy (EV) & Connected Mobility Services, Software Architecture, Systems Engineering, Software Integration, Product and Program Management - all to provide cool features such as Super Cruise to our customers. The Advanced ADAS Initiatives team leads the latest in cutting edge software and hardware integration for new ADAS projects within the Software and Services space. What You'll Do (Responsibilities)
- Support the controls integration of automated driving platforms and applications.
- Become an expert in vehicle controls systems for automated driving platforms and applications
- Quickly triage and address software integration issues
- Support vehicle build events, program milestones, and other special initiatives
- Conduct testing and data analysis for automated driving features & performance
- Verify and update vehicle software to an approved software configurations for test, validation, and issue resolution
- Support the development of virtualization tools to reduce integration dependencies on vehicle hardware
Your Skills & Abilities (Required Qualifications)
- Bachelors degree in Engineering, Computer Science or a related Bachelor of Science degree
- 2+ years of experience in Controls Development, Vehicle Integration, or Validation
- Experience with embedded software programing languages (Python, C, C++, etc.)
- Ability to communicate well cross-functionally
- Demonstrated ability to learn new tools and solve complex problems
- Looks for opportunities to disrupt status quo & introduce new tools and techniques
- Looks for opportunities to drive virtualization from in vehicle learnings
Preferred Qualifications (Nice-to-Have)
- Masters degree in Engineering, Computer Science or a related degree
- Experience with Autonomous Vehicle Control, Active Safety, Electrification, etc.
- Experience with VCU/Android Ap development
- Experience with Fluent Bit and back office infrastructure
- Familiar with the Global Vehicle Development Process
- Proficient with agile software development process
- 2+ years of professional experience

Compensation: The compensation information is a good faith estimate only. It is based on what a successful applicant might be paid in accordance with applicable state laws. The compensation may not be representative for positions located outside of New York, Colorado, California, or Washington.
- The salary range for this role: at L6 is $104,500 to $160,200. The actual base salary a successful candidate will be offered within this range will vary based on factors relevant to the position.
- Bonus Potential: An incentive pay program offers payouts based on company performance, job level, and individual performance.

This role is categorized as hybrid. This means the selected candidate is expected to report to a specific location at least 3 times a week {or other frequency dictated by their manager}.
The selected candidate will be required to travel <25% for this role.
Relocation benefits are available for candidates who qualify under company policy.
This position requires the ability to legally operate a motor vehicle on a regular basis and successfully complete a Motor Vehicle Report review.
