You’ll help clients overcome their most difficult challenges using the latest architectural approaches, tools, and technologies. You’ll make sure the solution developed by the team considers the current architecture and operating environment, as well as future functionality and enhancements.

QualificationsYou Have:
  • Experience with Java development, preferably with Java 17 or 21, including object-oriented design, multi-threading, and NIO2 file operations
  • Experience developing, testing, and deploying software in Linux environments using tools such as Maven and GitLab
  • Experience with Spring Framework, Spring Boot, Spring Integration, Spring Data, and Spring Cloud components
  • Experience developing and integrating RESTful services, web applications, messaging components, channels, adapters, endpoints, and cloud-based services
  • Experience working with cloud service providers and APIs, including AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud Platform
  • Experience integrating cloud storage and compute services such as Amazon S3, EC2, Azure Cloud Storage, and Google Cloud Storage and Compute Engine
  • Experience with relational, caching, and search data technologies such as PostgreSQL, Redis, and Elasticsearch
  • Experience with software packaging, dataflow management, deployment, installation, configuration, and operational support
  • Experience troubleshooting production software, supporting installations, and monitoring applications using tools such as the ELK stack
  • TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph
  • 14+ years of experience as a Software Engineer supporting programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexit and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related discipline OR a HS diploma and 18+ years of related experience
Nice If You Have:
  • Experience with Java Cryptography Extension (JCE) and JUnit testing frameworks
  • Experience with Spring Boot Actuators, Thymeleaf, and Spring application lifecycle management
  • Experience with Spring Data integrations for Elasticsearch, Redis, and PostgreSQL
  • Experience with Spring Cloud Config and cloud configuration management
  • Experience with Docker and containerized application development and deployment
  • Experience using development environments such as Eclipse or IntelliJ IDEA
  • Experience administering and maintaining development environment tools and resources such as GitLab and Nexus
  • Experience managing CI/CD workflows and software delivery pipelines using GitLab and Maven
  • Experience supporting distributed cloud-enabled data transport services and integrating multiple cloud environments
  • Experience collaborating with software developers, system engineers, test engineers, system administrators, and customers to troubleshoot complex technical issues

Compensation at EverWatch is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $100.96 to $115.38 per hour. The estimate displayed represents the typical compensation range for this position and is just one component of EverWatch’s total compensation package for employees.
