What this role is all about
Being a part of Infobip Engineering Powerhouse means working on an in-house developed product and delivering solutions on a global level. As a Software Engineer, you will be dedicated to your microservices and deal with the challenges of large architecture that is scalable, balanced, sends over 500 million messages daily and helps our clients to grow their business.
It's an opportunity to work in one of our requirement areas, so no matter if you are taking care that our infrastructure is set to place if you work on the collection and analysis of data traffic, if you are responsible for connectivity and security towards operators or if you are developing custom communication channels, you are an equally important part of the story.
What you'll do

- Write well-designed, testable, maintainable, and scalable code following clean code principles.

- Develop services responsible for producing, consuming, processing, and transferring data through Kafka.
- Work with Kafka clusters, helping maintain their reliability, performance, and operational health.
- Work with Kafka Connect clusters, including source and sync connectors integrating Kafka with different data stores.
- Collaborate with other engineering and data teams to understand system dependencies and design reliable solutions.
- Participate in code reviews, testing, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement of the team's services and processes.
- Work within an agile framework and actively participate in team practices such as planning, refinement, and retrospectives.
- Expand your knowledge of distributed systems, event-driven architecture, data integration, and backend engineering.
- Be part of the engineering community and contribute to sharing knowledge and improving engineering practices.
