Summary
In this role, you will apply software engineering best practices and your knowledge of internal and external business operations to design, develop, and improve applications, products, and services. You will solve moderately complex technical problems, contribute new perspectives to existing solutions, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable, maintainable, and reliable technology solutions.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and maintain applications using .NET, C#, and Angular.
- Take ownership of moderately complex user stories from design through development, testing, debugging, and implementation.
- Participate in architecture and technical design discussions with a focus on scalability, performance, and maintainability.
- Develop, maintain, and optimize data pipelines using Azure Data Factory and Azure Databricks.
- Implement and manage Azure SQL databases to support effective data storage, processing, and retrieval.
- Write and maintain unit and integration tests and actively participate in peer code reviews.
- Identify and address technical debt within assigned areas of responsibility.
- Proactively communicate progress, risks, and blockers and coordinate technical dependencies across team members.
- Leverage AI-enabled tools to improve productivity, development workflows, and overall efficiency.
- Stay current on emerging technologies, development practices, and industry trends.
- Provide constructive peer feedback and begin mentoring associate-level engineers.
Qualifications
- 2+ years of relevant professional software development experience using .NET and C# required.
- Hands-on experience developing applications using .NET, Angular, Angular Material, and Entity Framework required.
- Experience with SQL/T-SQL development and Azure SQL database implementation required.
- Experience developing data pipelines using Azure Data Factory and Azure Databricks required.
- Experience working in Agile software development environments, including CI/CD, test-driven development, and code review practices required.
- Strong debugging, analytical, and problem-solving skills within distributed cloud-based environments required.
- Ability to identify, assess, and communicate technical risks proactively required.
- Ability to clearly communicate technical decisions and collaborate effectively with peers and adjacent teams required.
- Relevant degree preferred.
- Azure cloud experience preferred.
- TypeScript experience preferred.
- Exposure to machine learning, natural language processing, Python, R, or SAS preferred.
- You must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
Estimated Hiring Range:
At Vizient, we consider skills, experience, and organizational needs in our compensation approach. Geographic factors may adjust the range estimate and hires typically fall below the top range. Compensation decisions are tailored to individual circumstances. The current salary range for this role is $61,800.00 to $121,800.00.This position is also incentive eligible.
