Kett Engineering is hiring for an experienced Software Engineer to work at a customer site in Dearborn, MI.
As the Software Technologist, you will be responsible for supporting on-road durability testing. This position will also support the "software integrity" and "fast feedback" teams to ensure our customer owned fleets have the latest software strategies as well as the appropriate hardware.
• Maintain Customer’s durability fleet ensuring software is the correct level.
• Swapping hardware to support the correct software flashes.
• Understanding and usage of manufacturer’s diagnostics tools/application.
• Implementation of new software updates requested by the Customer.
• Reconfigure and recalibrate any offline modules after a software flash.
• Document and record all vehicle updates performed.
• Ensure work is performed in a safe manner using all available safety equipment.
• All other related duties as assigned.
• Possess mental faculties consistent with performing the minimum requirements of the job.
• Always be professional and courteous to team and co-workers.
Skills Required
