JOB TITLE: Software Engineer
LOCATION: Irving, TX
DUTIES: Responsible for backend development and Java technologies. Review code and automation tests; write code and automation tests, communicate status and issues to team and leadership. Work with technical leads on low level design and ensure design is followed while reviewing code. Write clean, readable, and maintainable code. Follow ‘clean code’ practices. Troubleshoot production issues by looking into logs, database and services. Stay up to date with emerging software development tools and best practices. Write and review unit tests and integration tests comparing against requirements. Program complex object-oriented modules independently. Use Java, Sprint Boot and related technology stack; No-sql and Sql database. Perform automation testing using Mockito, Selenium and Junit. Use AWS Cloud applications including Kinesis, Lambda or EC2. Integrate REST and SOAP Application Programming Interfaces. Responsible for performance profiling for Java applications and Node js background. Design modularized components and micro frontend architecture.
REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s or foreign equivalent degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field, and 2 years of experience in the job offered or as a Software Developer, Application Developer, or in a related/similar position. Experience therein to include 2 years performing each of the following skills:
Backend development; Java, J2EE, Spring, Hibernate;
Kinesis, Kafka;
Mongo, Oracle;
Tomcat, JBOSS; and
Design Patterns.
