In this role, you will be at the forefront of developing critical dispatch planning systems within our modern ecosystem, directly influencing the efficiency of global supply chains and making a tangible impact on the commercial trucking industry. Key Exciting Responsibilities:

  • Design, implement, test, and support innovative software features within the Appian platform to optimize dispatch planning for commercial logistics.

  • Spearhead development tasks within a collaborative Agile framework, delivering high-quality system functionality within established timelines.

  • Collaborate with software engineers, quality assurance teams, and technical stakeholders to analyze complex requirements and resolve technical issues.

  • Participate in structured development processes including code reviews, debugging, and deployment activities to ensure peak software performance and reliability.

Essential Skills & Experience:

  • Strong foundational knowledge in Computer Science concepts, including object-oriented programming, data structures, and database programming.

  • Hands-on experience developing web-based applications and managing service-to-service communication.

  • Demonstrated experience working effectively within an Agile software development framework and adhering to technical standards.

  • Excellent communication skills with an ability to collaborate across engineering and quality assurance teams.

Bonus Points For:

  • Two or more years of professional software development experience.

  • Direct experience building or configuring applications within the Appian platform.

  • Practical experience working with cloud-based technologies and architectures like AWS.
