The Software Developer plays a central role in designing, building, and maintaining scalable, secure, and high-performing digital products across Pluxee’s ecosystem. Embedded within an agile squad, this role collaborates closely with Product Managers, Designers, QA, and DevOps to turn business requirements into working software.As part of a global, cloud-native product organization, the Software Developer ensures code quality, performance, and maintainability through best-in-class engineering practices.

You’ll join the Payments Squad, a high-performance team dedicated to building the engine that moves money globally. We don’t just write code; we design resilient, mission-critical systems where transactional precision, idempotency, and fault tolerance are at the heart of everything we do.
🚀 Key Responsibilities
What You’ll Do
- Design for Resilience: Build and optimize robust backend services capable of handling high-volume traffic while ensuring 100% data consistency and system reliability.
- Evolve Distributed Architectures: Understand the complexities of existing systems and evolve them into scalable, event-driven architectures to meet future global product requirements.
- High-Stakes Quality: In Payments, there is no room for error. You will be responsible for comprehensive testing (unit, integration, and acceptance) as well as advanced load and performance simulations.
- Operational Excellence & Observability: Monitor service health in production, using observability tools to proactively identify and resolve bottlenecks or anomalies.
- Technical Leadership: Share your expertise through deep code reviews, mentoring junior engineers, and documenting engineering standards that elevate the entire squad.
- AI-Driven Execution: Actively leverage AI tools and coding assistants on a daily basis to accelerate development cycles, automate repetitive tasks, and optimize overall team processes and delivery speed.
Our Technical Stack
- Backend Core: Node.js (TypeScript), NestJS (or similar frameworks).
- Data & State: MongoDB (Atlas), Redis for caching and distributed locking.
- Infrastructure: Docker, Kubernetes, GitLab CI/CD (deploying multiple times daily).
- Observability: Sentry and Datadog/New Relic for real-time monitoring.
- AI & Productivity: GitHub Copilot, Claude Sonnet, ChatGPT, and other GenAI assistants.
- Collaboration: GitHub, GitLab, Slack, JIRA, Notion.
- (Note: You will collaborate closely with our React/React Native teams, but your focus will be 100% Backend).
🌟 You are a match
- Proven Senior Expertise: 5+ years of experience developing production-grade applications. Experience within the Node.js ecosystem will be a plus.
- Distributed Systems Mastery: Deep understanding of race conditions, eventual consistency, idempotency, and message brokers.
- The "Payments Mindset": experience with banking systems, payment gateways (Stripe, Adyen, etc.), ledger systems, or reconciliation processes will be a pluz.

Skills Required
- 5+ years of experience developing production-grade applications
- Deep understanding of distributed systems: race conditions, eventual consistency, idempotency, and message brokers
- Extensive experience with automated testing (unit, integration, acceptance) and load/performance testing
- Operational excellence with observability tools (Sentry, Datadog or New Relic) and production monitoring
- Fluency in Spanish and English
- Willingness to actively leverage AI coding assistants (GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, Claude) in daily development
- Experience with Node.js and TypeScript (NestJS or similar frameworks)
