Job Description
- Be responsible for the velocity, stability, and reliability of the development environment, and observability of our FE technology.
- Be responsible for monitoring and finding opportunities to improve our quality metrics and performance alongside product engineering and SEO teams.
- Be responsible for creating and improving our technical standard, building supporting tools and processes to uphold the standard, researching and adopting new technologies.
- Be responsible for managing our web infrastructure which is mainly on AWS, adopting best practices for our infrastructure alongside TechOps and Infosec team, and building the necessary knowledge base for product engineering teams to manage their infrastructure.
- Support Traveloka’s key business initiatives and product engineering teams to deliver their projects.
Requirements
Education & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in web engineering.
Technical Skills
- In-depth understanding and experience with JavaScript frameworks, particularly ReactJS and NextJS, which are core to Traveloka Web operations. Candidates should not only be adept at using these frameworks but also possess the ability to dissect and comprehend their inner workings to seamlessly integrate them into our infrastructure.
- Comprehensive knowledge of the entire web stack, including protocols, security measures, and performance optimization techniques, with a specific emphasis on Core Web Vitals.
Professional Attributes
- A passionate and proactive interest in emerging trends and technologies in web development. The ideal candidate will be eager to explore, assess, and incorporate new tools, frameworks, and methodologies to foster technical excellence and innovation based on Traveloka needs.
- Proven experience in managing medium-to-large scale projects independently and/or leading small teams.
Additional Skills
- Proficiency with CI/CD tools, with a particular advantage given to experience with GitHub Actions.
