Job Description
We’re looking for a skilled Web Engineer to join our Web Infra team. As a Web Infra Engineer, you will work closely with the product, development, and DevOps teams to ensure seamless operations, efficient deployment pipelines, and an optimized user experience.
As a Software Engineer - Web in Web Infra team, you will:
- Be responsible for development velocity, stability, and reliability of the development environment, and observability of our FE technology.
- Be responsible for monitoring and finding opportunities to improve our quality metrics and performance.
- Be responsible for creating and improving our technical standard, building supporting tools and processes to uphold the standard, researching and adopting new technologies.
- Be responsible for managing our centralized infrastructure, adopting best practices for our infrastructure, and building the necessary knowledge base for product teams to manage their infrastructure.
- Support Traveloka’s key business initiatives and product engineers to deliver their projects.
Requirements
- Bachelor degree in Computer science or equivalent degree.
- 4+ years of web engineering experience.
- Detailed knowledge of JavaScript framework ReactJS and familiarity with NextJS.
- Experience with the whole web stack, protocols, security, and performance optimisation techniques and familiarity with running large scale web services.
- Demonstrated interest and enthusiasm for emerging trends and technologies in web technology. Eager to explore, evaluate, and integrate new tools, frameworks, and methodologies that can drive technical excellence and innovation.
- Experience managing medium-to-high sized projects and/or leading small team.
- Proficiency with CI/CD tools.
