TAM Intelliware, part of the Fullsteam organization, is a team of dedicated technical professionals serving the Non-Profit, Healthcare, Parks and Attractions, and Specialty Retail sectors. We focus on delivering technologies, expertise, and support that enhance business operations and patron experiences.
We are looking for a Software Engineer with VB.NET and SQL Server experience to join our growing development team. You'll help maintain and extend existing WebForms and WinForms applications, working closely with senior developers to resolve bugs, build new features, and optimize legacy systems.
Primary Responsibilities:
• Assist in the development and maintenance of VB.NET applications (WebForms and WinForms).
• Write, review, and optimize SQL Server queries and stored procedures.
• Participate in debugging, bug fixing, and feature development.
• Collaborate with the team to understand and refine business requirements.
• Follow established coding standards and participate in code reviews.
Skills & Competencies:
• Familiarity with VB.NET or C# in Visual Studio 2019 or 2022.
• Solid understanding of SQL and relational databases (SQL Server).
• Ability to work in legacy application environments (WebForms, WinForms).
• Detail-oriented with good problem-solving skills.
• Willingness to learn and grow within a structured development team.
Minimum Qualifications:
• 1–3 years of software development experience (professional or academic).
• Exposure to VB.NET or C# and a desire to work in a VB.NET-heavy codebase.
• Experience writing SQL queries and stored procedures.
• Familiarity with Visual Studio, version control (Git or TFS), and debugging tools.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience with .NET WebForms or WinForms.
• Familiarity with unit testing or QA processes.
• Exposure to REST APIs or integration concepts.
