About The Role 🤔:
As a Senior Software Engineer on the GameFi team within Immutable Play, you’ll help build one of Immutable’s flagship products, focused on creating the leading end-to-end platform for scaling web3 games.
Today, one of the biggest challenges for web3 game studios is secure and seamless player onboarding primarily due to wallet complexity. Immutable addresses this through Immutable Passport, a non-custodial wallet and authentication solution offering passwordless sign-in and automatic wallet creation. Together with Immutable Play, studios can onboard mainstream audiences, ensure enterprise-grade security, and scale globally, while players gain a secure wallet and frictionless access to the world of web3 gaming.
GameFi Team plays a pivotal role in enabling studios to launch and trade tokens and NFT successfully. As a Fullstack Engineer on this team, you’ll work on mission-critical infrastructure like Swap and Bridge widgets, tokenisation tooling, primary sales, Trading and Staking mechanisms. You’ll bring hands-on experience, especially within crypto trading or exchange environments, and work end-to-end across frontend and backend systems.
You’ll collaborate with a diverse range of stakeholders, product, engineering, design, data, commercials and the Founders. You will be trusted with significant autonomy. Our squads of 6 members are data driven and very collaborative. We build, experiment, pairing and owning outcomes as a team.
You'll Be Empowered To 🎮:
- Build high-impact features for Immutable Play’s GameFi team
- Design and develop widgets such as swap, bridge, transfer, to serve trading in Tokens and NFTs in Primary sales and staking mechanisms
- Collaborate closely with stakeholders including founders to shape product direction
- Work across technologies including: TypeScript, React, Golang, AWS Lambda, PostgreSQL, Elasticsearch, Terraform and event-driven microservices
- Participate in planning, estimation, and product design sessions
- Continuously iterate based on user feedback in a fast-moving, experimental environment
- Support operational excellence and take ownership of the services your team delivers
- Contribute to improving team workflows and engineering practices
We'd Love You To Bring 🤝:
- 5+ years of engineering experience in product-focused environments
- Strong proficiency in TypeScript (front-end and back-end) a must
- Experience testing client-side apps (unit, component, integration)
- Proven ability to build readable and testable code
- A passion for crafting user-centric products with care and empathy
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work cross-functionally
- Product mindset with a willingness to help shape technical direction
- Development and design backend solutions using Golang or similar languages
- Develop and design frontend solutions using React
- Trading domain (Centralized or Decentralized)
- Widgets wrap 3rd party tools
- UX and Technical auditing of SaaS platform
Hands-on experience with:

- Startup or scale-up experience is a plus
- Interest in Web3 and eagerness to grow within the space
- Side project in Web3
- Familiarity with DEX, CEX, Web3 frontend toolings for Wallets and fund exchange
