Software Engineer (TypeScript, React, Electron)

As a Software Engineer at ApyHub, you will work directly with our global engineering team, product owner, and CTO to build high-performance developer tools and applications. Your work will directly impact thousands of developers worldwide by ensuring our applications are fast, scalable, and developer-friendly.

In more detail, you will:

• Develop and maintain Electron-based applications using TypeScript, React, and Node.js.
• Build and enhance rich text editing features using Tiptap/Prosemirror and Codemirror.
• Work closely with the product team to ensure a seamless and intuitive developer experience.
• Optimize performance and responsiveness across different environments.
• Write unit and integration tests to maintain high code quality.
• Stay updated with the latest developer tool trends and best practices.
• Potentially contribute to open-source plugins that extend ApyHub’s ecosystem.

You will be a strong candidate if…

• You have 2+ years of experience in TypeScript, React, and Electron.
• You have worked on desktop applications, rich text editors, or API tooling.
• You are familiar with Tiptap/Prosemirror or Codemirror.
• You are comfortable with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and monorepo setups (Yarn Workspaces is a plus).
• You have knowledge of performance optimizations and custom UI components.
• Experience with TailwindCSS and open-source plugin development is a plus.
• You enjoy solving technical challenges and thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
