TEAM
The Teammate Driving (POV BEV) team's mission is to realize stable AD/ADAS systems for POV (Privately Owned Vehicle) as an automated driving product by using sensors to recognize and judge the situation and control the vehicle appropriately.
Our ultimate goal is to provide a new lifestyle that our customer had never experienced before through our automated driving.
WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
As a software engineer, you will develop software that is robust and optimal for AD/ADAS systems. It is expected that you have experience in at least one area below:
・Robotics or automated driving systems
・Fusion of road information from map and recognition
・Localization and mapping
・Path/Motion planning
・Motion controlling
・Software integration
・CI/CD environment
It is great if you have a strong passion for developing and delivering AD/ADAS products that are used around the world.
RESPONSIBILITIES
As a software engineer, you will be involved in developing AD/ADAS products, including tasks such as defining requirements, coding, testing, evaluating, and discussing with stakeholders. You will work on some or all of the following items:
・Collaborating in cross-functional teams to create safer and more reliable AD/ADAS systems
・Developing and integrating components of AD/ADAS products to enhance functionality and performance
・Evaluating software components using simulations and real-world vehicle tests
・Delivering high-quality software by conducting tests and code reviews to ensure readiness for productization
・Continuously reviewing and enhancing our development processes, including workflow and CI/CD practices
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience in research / product development of robotics, AD/ADAS, or related technologies
- Hands-on software development skills in C/C++ or Python
- Working proficiency in English
- Business level proficiency in Japanese (ability to work with customers)
NICE TO HAVES
- M.S. or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Robotics or a related field
- Experience in development of automotive software products, particularly in C++
- Knowledge of embedded software implementation
- Knowledge and experience in CI/CD
