What you will do
-
Lead and manage a Platform Engineering team of DevOps and Site Reliability Engineers, and foster a culture of collaboration, innovation and continuous improvement.

Collaborate with onsite counterparts and support teams for alignment on platform roadmap, architecture and technology delivery.

Build and maintain core platform components, including GCP native and third party services.
-
You will be working actively on Infrastructure as Code, using CloudFormation, Terraform, or other tools, and use CICD Workflow tools such as Jenkins and GitHub.

You will be working on microservices and distributed application architecture, such as containers, Kubernetes, and/or serverless technology.

Lead the team for automating cloud native technologies (on GCP), deploying applications and provisioning infrastructure.

Implement and maintain robust SRE practices to ensure high availability, low latency and fault tolerance. Monitor platform health, troubleshoot incidents, and escalate critical issues as needed.
What experience you need
-
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
-
Minimum 8+ years of experience in platform engineering, devops, cloud operations, or a similar role.

Cloud certification in GCP or AWS.
-
Proven experience in managing and leading a team of DevOps or Site Reliability Engineers.

Strong understanding of GCP services, including Vertex AI, MLOps, Compute Engine, Cloud Storage, Big Query, Cloud Monitoring, and Cloud Logging.

Familiarity with Linux operating systems and scripting languages (e.g., Bash, Python).

Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
-
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Strong attention to detail and a commitment to high-quality work.

Experience working with open source frameworks; preferably Spring, though we would also consider Ruby, Apache Struts, Symfony, Django, etc.

Strong knowledge of appropriate programming and scripting languages – Be proficient in .Net, .Net framework 4.5, WCF or related technology, AJAX, and JSON, and some type of automated testing
