Devsinc is seeking a talented Ruby on Rails Developer to join our dynamic development team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining high-quality web applications to support our clients' needs. We are looking for someone who is passionate about Ruby on Rails and enjoys working collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain web applications using Ruby on Rails.
- Design and implement robust APIs and integrate with front-end technologies.
- Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
- Participate in the entire application lifecycle, focusing on coding and debugging.
- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following best practices and guidelines.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
- Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers.
- Stay up to date with emerging technologies and industry trends related to Ruby on Rails.
Requirements
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- 2-4 years of experience in developing web applications with Ruby on Rails.
- Strong understanding of MVC architecture, PostgreSQL and RESTful design principles.
- Experience with front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript frameworks.
- Familiarity with database systems, including PostgreSQL and MySQL.
- Knowledge of version control systems, particularly Git.
- Strong debugging skills and familiarity with software testing methodologies.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Experience with DevOps practices and CI/CD is a plus.
