Who is RAU?
The Rockwell Automation University (RAU) School of Technology is a team that serves all of Rockwell Automation by building the competency level of hands-on technical resources. Roles within RAU can provide you with exciting opportunities:

Join our RAU Learning Innovation Team and be a catalyst who helps advance our current and future strategy around learning projects by helping us design, code, test, and integrate supporting technology, including projects related to our own content management system, our Learning Management System, a possible Learning Experience Platforms and Badging tools, and reporting and dashboards. AI and generative AI projects may also be on the horizon.
You will report to the Manager of RAU Global Development and Delivery and will have a Hybrid work schedule based in Katowice, Poland.
Your Responsibilities:- Collaborate with team members to identify requirements and implement solutions internally or through vendors
- Develop internal digital solutions to assist Rockwell's Training organization
- Assist in software design, development, testing, and debugging
- Design, develop, and maintain AI tools
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to documentation
- Support end-users using developed tooling
- A degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related experience
- 2 years of relevant experience
- Proficient in one or more major scripting languages (Python, Javascript, Lua)
- Proficient in software development methodologies and source control concepts and tools
- Experience developing HTML and CSS websites (HTML / CSS)
- Basic knowledge of database concepts (CRUD, schemas, SPs)
- Experience developing and using software testing frameworks
- Experience developing 'cross platform' software (Windows / Mac / Linux)
- Experience with Office365 Power Platform tools
- Experience with Rockwell Automation PLCs, PLC programming (Studio5000, Logix 5/500)
- Experience with image platforms like Azure
- Understanding of machine learning and familiarity with AI frameworks (e.g. TensorFlow or PyTorch)
- Familiarity with locally run large language models (Llama, DeepSeek, Mistral etc.)
