Primary Responsibilities:

• Data Pipeline Development
  • Design and implement ETL/ELT pipelines for structured, semi-structured, and unstructured data
  • Build and maintain data flows connecting operational systems, analytics platforms, and BI tools
• Data Modeling and Schema Design
  • Create scalable schemas across multiple business domains
  • Apply dimensional modeling techniques for efficient data storage and retrieval
• Infrastructure and Automation
  • Develop infrastructure for data ingestion, transformation, and delivery using tools like AWS, SQL, and Python
  • Automate workflows and implement reusable frameworks for data processing
• Data Quality and Performance
  • Implement validation and monitoring processes to ensure data integrity
  • Optimize query performance and resource utilization in data systems
• Collaboration and Support
  • Work with Data Architects, BI engineers, and Data Scientists to design end-to-end solutions
  • Assist stakeholders with data-related technical issues and ensure smooth development processes

Required Qualifications:

• Proven technical skills:
  • Languages and Tools: SQL, Python, Java/Scala, Git
  • Cloud Platforms: AWS (EC2, S3, Redshift), Azure Synapse, GCP BigQuery
  • Big Data Frameworks: Spark, Hive, Kafka, Airflow
  • ETL Tools: Informatica, Talend, SSIS
  • Data Modeling: Schema design, dimensional modeling
