Software Engineer (Python)

In this role, you will:

• Build and support the entire infrastructure used to deliver crucial data services.

• Be responsible for building, integrating and managing applications to continue improving performance, modernizing architecture, and working on Google Cloud. 

• Join an engineering team tasked with developing the next generation of our core services and work alongside a team of architects as part of a larger development organization.

We’re looking for an experienced software engineer, who is a team player, passionate about new technologies and eager to constantly learn new things.

What skillset you need, to be successful in this role:

• Good knowledge and experience in Python (minimum 2 years).

• Familiarity with Kubernetes.

• Good knowledge of REST api concept.

• Experience with Flask and FastAPI.

• Good understanding and experience in SQL Databases and ORMs.

• Solid knowledge of software engineering best practices and design patterns.

• Strong unit test and debugging skills.

• Strong verbal/written communication skills in English.

Nice to have:

• Knowledge of GCP or Kubernetes, Cloudflare or other CDNs, networking fundamentals like DNS.

• Experience working in cloud-native environments, in bare metal, virtualized (VM), and containerized / orchestrated deployments.

• SQLAlchemy, FastAPI, Async Environment, Task Brokers (TaskIQ, Celery), Kafka (Message Brokers, Event Streaming), OAuth, IaC (Terraform).
