Position Summary:
You will join the Digital Platforms group focusing on enterprise initiatives and technical projects. This dynamic environment offers an outstanding opportunity to craft the future of our digital offerings.
What you will do:
- Define and develop verifiable requirements and software designs.
- Build technical documentation for software architecture, design, and verification plans.
- Develop software requirements, architectures, and designs for fault-tolerant systems.
- Participate in all aspects of software development, systems integration, test execution, issue resolution, and reviews.
- Collaborate and communicate effectively with software, hardware, and test engineers across the team.
How you will get here:
Education:
- BS in Computer Science, Engineering, Chemistry, Mathematics, or equivalent work experience.
- 5+ years of related experience.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:
- Advanced programming skills in Python, Django, Flask
- Experience deploying software on elastic platforms such as Kubernetes, AWS EC2, AWS Lambda, AWS Greengrass
- Experience in AWS IoT Core platform
- Highly knowledgeable with MQTT, Serial Communication Protocols, and BLE
- Outstanding analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proven ability to think critically, learn new technologies, and deliver results
- Strong teamwork and time management skills; passion for mentoring and developing junior team members
- Ability to express ideas clearly within the team and across departments
- Familiarity with tools such as Jira, Git/GitHub, Confluence
