Project Overview
Join a dedicated engineering squad focused on modernizing a portfolio of critical internal applications for a global technology leader. This project involves enhancing and maintaining key systems that manage the entire candidate and employee lifecycle, from acquisition to development. You will be responsible for strengthening complex integrations with enterprise platforms like Workday and iCIM, ensuring seamless data flow and a superior user experience for employees, candidates, and HR teams. The core technical challenge is to improve the scalability, security, and performance of these applications while refactoring legacy components.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain full-stack applications using Python/Django, TypeScript/React, and Java/Spring Boot.
- Enhance and support key integrations between internal applications and enterprise HR systems (Workday, iCIMS).
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver secure, scalable, and high-performance solutions aligned with HR business needs.
- Write maintainable, well-tested code and lead efforts in rigorous testing and bug resolution.
- Contribute to the architectural evolution and modernization of the employee lifecycle application suite.
Must-Have Skills
- Solid professional experience with Python/Django, TypeScript/React, and Java/Spring Boot.
- Strong testing abilities, expertise in bug resolution, and excellent documentation skills.
- Proficiency with JIRA and a demonstrated ability to work independently as a self-starter.
- Proven experience in Agile remote teams.
- Fluent English for daily communication.
Nice-to-Have Skills
- Direct experience with Workday and/or iCIMS integrations.
- Domain knowledge in HR or Employee Lifecycle applications (e.g., compensation, demographic data, feedback systems).
- Experience with performance tuning in Django, React, or Java applications.
- Background in modernizing or refactoring legacy systems.
- Deep familiarity with Agile/Scrum/Kanban methodologies.
