This role is a Software Engineer who will report to the CTO.

What does the role look like?

As a Fullstack Engineer, you will play a crucial role in building and shipping product features from end to end. This position requires a strong proficiency in both backend and frontend technologies, particularly Ruby on Rails and React. Your primary responsibilities will involve developing new features, fixing bugs, and ensuring the reliable and rapid delivery of high-quality code. You will collaborate closely with product and design teams to take Figma designs and translate them into fully functional and scalable features.

On the backend, you will be responsible for designing database schemas, creating migrations, models, and validations, and delivering robust APIs that are well-tested and bug-free. On the frontend, you will implement detailed designs using React and TypeScript, focusing on building responsive, user-friendly interfaces. Your role will also involve managing the data layer for the frontend, ensuring seamless data fetching and state management, all while maintaining a focus on performance and reliability.

Your First 90 Days:

• Within 30 days: Build your first Whop App end-to-end, ensuring it is high quality and maintainable
• Within 60 days: You will continue maintaining your Whop Apps, building a portfolio of apps that you will own
• Within 90 days: You have built multiple Whop Apps that are driving new creator growth and getting usage every day!

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of writing software in high growth environments and building high-impact, consumer-centric applications
• Experience with React or Ruby on Rails

• Excellent communication skills, ability to synthesize to present complex insights to non-technical stakeholders.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines.
• Highly resourceful and able to thrive in a competitive, fast-changing landscape.
