Software Engineer, (Frontend)

Position Overview

SingleStore engineers build the real-time data platform that enables some of the world’s most demanding applications. Our cloud-native database architecture enables high-performance transactional and analytical workloads at scale.

Our Software Engineers work on small, collaborative teams to help drive our company forward. Your role will include working closely with our Product and Design teams as we build the best user experience for the database in the cloud. This role is ideal for an engineer who thrives on deep technical challenges, takes pride in building durable systems, and enjoys mentoring others while remaining hands-on. What you'll do:

• Work closely with product managers, designers, customers, and other engineers to ensure we deliver a high-quality experience
• Develop a world-class managed service responsible for providing an innovative operational database solution in the cloud
• Proactively contribute to the team's engineering process to assist with our ability to scale and deliver projects on time
• Mentor less experienced engineers and contribute to a welcoming team environment
• Position expects candidate to work across the stack (but stay frontend focused)

Your Experience:

• Experience working React and TypeScript
• Understanding of application architecture in the browser
• Experience working with backend and programming languages such as Golang, Python or Rust is a plus.
• 2+ years of experience working on a SaaS product
• Intellectual curiosity about investigating issues that impact business metrics
• Passion for building high-quality products, focused on the user experience, that are robust and easy to maintain in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
