We are looking for Software Engineers to build the next generation AI platform scaling to several petabyte level data volumes.
As a member of C3 AI's growing platform team, you will be responsible for the entire software engineering lifecycle, i.e., design, document, build, test, maintain. As one of the Platform core teams, this role is integral to the success of the company.
A successful candidate will thrive in a fast-paced, highly collaborative environment and demonstrate an ability to execute precisely and quickly. The ideal candidate will have a passion for finding elegant solutions to complex problems.
Responsibilities:
- Design and develop various features in the next generation C3 AI PaaS AI suite
- Design and develop core foundational components to support both back-end and front-end teams
- Design and develop a framework for distributed application development and cache management
- Design and develop systems and tools for collaborative application development, ensuring integration with version control systems
- Develop tools and frameworks to establish rules, validate that developer code adheres to them, and ensure it runs efficiently
- Work closely with software engineering & product management teams to gather requirements and deliver a top-quality product following the agile software development methodology
Qualifications:
- BS or MS in Computer Science or related technical field, or equivalent industry experience
- 1-4 years of relevant experience
- Hands-on experience and understanding of Computer Science fundamentals (Algorithms, Data Structures)
- Experience programing in Java or similar programming languages.
- Hands-on experience and understanding of software development principles and design patterns.
- Passion for distributed systems, low level programming, JVM, process and memory management is a plus
- Systematic problem-solving approach coupled with a strong sense of ownership and independence
- Intellectually curious and naturally drawn to challenges.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Persistent and can-do attitude.
- Proactive work ethic - self starter

California Pay Range
$120,000—$156,000 USD
