We're looking for a dynamic Software Engineer to work with a small, outstanding engineering team reporting into the Software Development Manager. You will have experience with Next.js, Javascript / Typescript, and React, and will also be comfortable working on backend tasks as needed. You will have a strong technical background and excellent communication skills.

What you will do...

• Develop and maintain complex, high quality user experiences using Next.js, Javascript / Typescript and React

• Build reusable components and frontend libraries for future use

• Collaborate with other developers to integrate user-facing elements with a variety of backend technologies

• Participate in code reviews and contribute to improving code quality and test coverage

• Occasionally assist with backend development tasks, including API development, performance optimization, and bug fixing

• Solve advanced technical challenges involving different data structures, design patterns, and AWS

Who you are…

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience

• 3+ years of experience in frontend development, with a strong focus on Next.js, Javascript / Typescript, React, and CSS.

• Strong understanding of web development principles, including responsive design, cross-browser compatibility and performance optimization.

• Familiarity with backend technologies such as Node.js, Java, AWS Lambda

• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices

• Familiarity with Docker

• Version control experience (Git or SVN)

As a signatory of the ParityPledge in Support of Women and the ParityPledge in Support of People of Color, Ancestry values pay transparency and pay equity. We are pleased to share the base salary range for this position: $126,000 - $144,000 with eligibility for bonus, equity and comprehensive benefits including health, dental and vision. The actual salary will vary by geographic region and job experience. We will share detailed compensation data for a specific location during the recruiting process.
