Bridgeway is seeking a .NET Software Engineer to work in a fast-paced, results driven environment, collaborating with other engineers, solutions analysts, and quality assurance analysts. This .NET Software Engineer will develop and enhance our applications. We are seeking a highly motivated individual who thrives in a highly productive team-centric environment. The is a remote position with preference given to East Coast candidates.
Responsibilities:
- Develop entire applications or major application subsystems utilizing .NET stack and related technologies.
- Assess requirements for software development projects.
- Interact professionally with team members throughout the organization.
- Provide support and research for existing and new software and investigate, recommend, and implement new technology and solutions.
- Adhere to technical standards within the industry and within Bridgeway.
- Participate in multiple concurrent projects, to include product enhancements, client customizations, third party integrations, and product maintenance.
- Collaborate with our Engineering, DevOps, and operations teams to define and execute plans for standardization scaling and enhancements to our products and services utilized in deployment, installation, and release efforts.
- Collaborate with Product Owners, Business Analysts and QA Team in refining requirements, prototyping, design, coding, testing, and deployment.
- Maintain SCRUM Methodology and documentation of user stories, features, and other release notes to best assist implementation application support teams.
- Develop programming effort estimations based on requirements and scope of project and manage work progress against schedule commitments, utilizing Azure DevOps (ADO) for task management.
- Advocate for continuous improvement.
Requirements:
- 3+ years’ professional software engineering experience in full .NET framework, Object Oriented Methodologies, Web Services, and strong understanding of Agile Methodology
- 3+ years experience in application design, implementation, maintenance, diagnosing and issue resolution, managing security, etc.
- Experience with WPF and similar markup languages, required
- Experience developing in a large-scale or multi-platform environment is a plus
- Experience with software architecture patterns such as MVC and MVVM is a plus
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills, both written and verbal
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field
