As a Software Engineer, you will play a key role in designing, developing, and evolving Uptime360, ABB's strategic asset management platform. You will work closely with product owners, architects, and globally distributed engineering teams to deliver scalable, cloud-native solutions that improve asset reliability, safety, and operational performance across critical electrical infrastructure.
You will join a highly skilled and collaborative team building a strategic global digital product. We work in a hybrid model, meeting in our Kraków office once a week while maintaining close cooperation with colleagues across multiple locations worldwide.

You will be mainly accountable for:
- Designing, developing, testing, and maintaining enterprise-grade cloud applications throughout the full software development lifecycle, from requirements analysis to production deployment and support
- Collaborating with software architects, product teams, and stakeholders to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions and deliver high-quality product features
- Driving continuous improvement by applying Agile methodologies, automation and modern software engineering practices
Qualifications for the role :
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
- 3+ years of experience in designing and developing enterprise-grade, scalable cloud solutions
- Knowledge of web application development and microservices architecture
- Knowledge of basic authentication and authorization principles
- Knowledge of the framework for creating APIs and working with database: ASP.NET Core, Entity framework
- Practical knowledge of Microsoft Azure cloud and its resources, i.e., Entra, AppService, ACR, KeyVault, CommunicationServices, SQL Database
- Sound experience in object-oriented programming (C#, .NET) and containerization technology Kubernetes and Dockers
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with fluent written and spoken English
