We’re seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join Dynatron’s engineering organization and play a key role in building, scaling, and maintaining our core SaaS platforms. In this role, you will design and deliver high-quality software as part of an agile, cross-functional team, working closely with Architects, Engineering leadership, and fellow engineers.

This is a hands-on, senior individual contributor role for someone who takes ownership of technical solutions, writes clean and maintainable code, and raises the bar for engineering quality across the team. You’ll contribute to architectural decisions, mentor junior engineers, and help ensure our systems remain scalable, reliable, and easy to evolve as the business grows.

Because Dynatron does not have a physical office in India, this position will be structured as an Independent Contractor role.

• No taxes will be deducted by Dynatron (contractor is responsible for compliance).

• India Gazetted Holidays and 24 days of PTO are included as part of the contract.

• 9:00 AM – 2:00 PM EST (USA)
• 8:00 AM – 1:00 PM CST (USA)
• 7:00 AM – 12:00 PM MST (USA)
• 6:00 AM – 11:00 AM PST (USA)

An additional 3 flexible hours per day can be worked outside of core hours based on your preference

• Design, build, and maintain scalable backend and frontend solutions using .NET Core (C#) and Angular.
• Implement architectural patterns and best practices to deliver reliable, maintainable software.
• Write clean, testable, and well-documented code that meets performance and security standards.

• Partner with Architects, Tech Leads, and Engineering leadership to implement the architectural vision.
• Participate in design and functional specification reviews, identifying risks and opportunities early.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of engineering standards, tooling, and processes.

• Design and modify database schemas, tables, indexes, stored procedures, and views, with an emphasis on MySQL and relational data modeling.
• Work effectively across multiple storage technologies and system integrations using RESTful APIs and modern data formats (JSON, XML).

• Participate fully in Agile ceremonies, including planning, estimation, reviews, and retrospectives.
• Provide accurate effort estimates and take ownership of delivering committed work.
• Assist with diagnosing and resolving production issues as needed.

• Mentor and support junior engineers through code reviews, pairing, and technical guidance.
• Prioritize documentation to ensure knowledge sharing and long-term maintainability of systems.

• 4+ years of professional experience with .NET / C#, including recent experience with .NET Core.
• 2+ years of hands-on experience with Angular (v8+); experience developing in Linux-based environments is a plus.
• 3+ years of experience working with relational databases, with a strong emphasis on MySQL.
• Strong experience building and consuming APIs using HTTP, REST, JSON, and XML.
• Deep understanding of object-oriented design principles and common design patterns, with the ability to articulate trade-offs.
• Experience with Git, unit testing, and Agile development methodologies.
• Familiarity working across Linux and Windows environments.

• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to manage multiple competing priorities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while collaborating effectively within a team.
• Curiosity and commitment to staying current with evolving technologies and best practices.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field preferred (or equivalent practical experience).
• Experience in or exposure to the automotive industry is a plus.
