Overview:
We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Backend Developer to join our Telecom Research & Development team. In this role, you will assist in designing, developing, and maintaining backend services for telecom applications and systems. You will collaborate closely with senior engineers and R&D teams to build innovative solutions that drive advancements in telecom infrastructure, network performance, and communication technologies.
Responsibilities:
Assist in building and maintaining robust, scalable, and secure backend systems for telecom applications.
Write unit and integration tests to ensure code quality and system reliability. Troubleshoot and resolve backend issues efficiently.
Work closely with cross-functional teams (including Frontend Developers, Data Engineers, and Telecom Experts) to understand requirements and deliver solutions that meet project goals.
Maintain clear and concise documentation for code, systems, and workflows.
Participate in code reviews and contribute to team best practices.
Stay up to date with industry trends and emerging technologies.
Contribute to ongoing research efforts in emerging telecom technologies such as cloud infrastructure and network virtualization.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Telecommunications, or a related field.
Proficiency in at least one backend language (Java) and basic understanding of data structures and algorithms.
Exposure to cloud computing platforms such as AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure.
Problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Familiarity with Git or other version control systems for managing codebase.
Experience working in an Agile development environment and using Jira or similar project management tools.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Excellent teamwork and mentoring abilities.
Fluency in English.
