We are looking for a Software Engineer – Java experience in developing robust, scalable web applications using Java Spring Boot and Angular. This role plays a key part in enhancing our next-generation content delivery platform, with a focus on backend and frontend development, enterprise search, and data analytics integration.
About You – experience, education, skills, and accomplishments
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 2–3 years of professional experience in Java development with strong backend and frontend capabilities.
- At least 2 years of experience in Java, J2EE, Spring Framework, Spring Boot, Hibernate, and REST API development.
- Solid understanding of microservices architecture and MVC frameworks.
- Experience with application/web servers (e.g., Tomcat, JBoss, WebLogic).
- Knowledge of relational and NoSQL databases, including SQL optimization.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, version control (Git), and build tools (Maven, Gradle).
- Exposure to containerization and cloud platforms (Docker, Kubernetes, AWS/Azure/GCP).
- Knowledge of testing frameworks (JUnit, TestNG) and TDD/BDD practices.

- Experience with Elastic Search for implementing and optimizing search functionalities.
- Familiarity with Redis for caching and performance optimization.
- Exposure to tools like SonarQube for code quality and Jenkins for CI/CD
- Ability to integrate new technologies to improve systems and processes.
What will you be doing in this role?
- Collaborate with Data Engineering and DevOps teams to implement CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins.
- Utilize Swagger for documenting APIs and Webhooks for seamless system integrations.
- Implement solutions using Java, Spring Boot, Hibernate, REST APIs, and microservices.
- Write high-quality, maintainable, and reusable code following engineering best practices (SOLID, DRY, TDD).
- Develop and execute unit tests, integration tests, and support automation frameworks.
- Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices for continuous integration and delivery.
