We are seeking a Full Stack Software Engineer to develop and maintain enterprise web and desktop applications supporting mission-critical classification and information management systems. This role is responsible for designing, developing, and enhancing applications using Java, Python, C++, JavaScript, Microsoft technologies, and legacy platforms while supporting modern web services and enterprise integrations.
The ideal candidate has experience developing Java-based enterprise applications, Microsoft desktop and web solutions, web services, and legacy application modernization within secure government environments.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain enterprise desktop and web-based applications supporting mission-critical systems
- Develop classification and information management tools using Java, Python, C, C++, Visual Basic, and Microsoft .NET technologies
- Develop enterprise applications using Java and the Spring Boot framework
- Design and implement RESTful and SOAP-based web services
- Develop and maintain JavaScript-based application services and interactive web applications
- Build responsive web user interfaces using JavaScript, HTML, and CSS
- Develop and maintain applications utilizing Apache CXF and Apache Tomcat
- Work with XML and SOAP messaging to support enterprise system integrations
- Maintain and enhance existing Lotus Notes applications while supporting legacy system modernization initiatives
- Develop and maintain Microsoft Office and Microsoft Web Office solutions
- Troubleshoot application issues and implement enhancements to improve system performance and reliability
- Participate in software testing, code reviews, and application deployments
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable, secure, and maintainable enterprise software solutions
- Develop technical documentation supporting application design, implementation, and maintenance
