The Expertise We’re Looking for
6+ years of hands-on experience:
Designing, developing, and maintaining Java and Node.JS based applications in a fast-paced Scrum environment.
Implementing front-end solutions using JavaScript, Typescript, CSS, HTML & Browser Developer tools
Experience building and designing large-scale, highly available, resilient, secure, scalable, and digital enterprise applications using micro-services, event-driven architectures.
API Services development and consumption using modern frameworks and open source technologies.
Designing, developing and Implementing Cloud based solutions in AWS
Experience with test development and application performance testing using Cypress and code quality using SonarQube and secure code validation with Veracode would be added advantage.
Effectively employ DevOps, Automated Testing and Continuous Delivery using technology such as Groovy, Jenkins, Maven and Stash.
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Science, Mathematics, Physics (or equivalent)
The Skills You Bring
Hands on software development experience in Java Web services and API solutions.
Hands-on experience with Service Oriented Architecture (SOA), building RESTful services, XML/JSON, and modern Application Servers.
Proficient in Java, J2EE, Spring MVC, Spring Core and JavaScript.
Deep understanding of API design, including versioning, isolation and micro-services.
Working knowledge of cloud computing environments and applications (AWS, Azure).
Experience in documenting APIs leveraging an API documentation framework (Swagger)
Experience with DevOps, Continuous Integration and Delivery tools like Jenkins, Maven, uDeploy, Stash and Docker.
Strong knowledge of developing highly scalable distributed systems using Open source technologies.
Working knowledge of testing frameworks like Junit, Mockito, Spring Test.
Knowledge of web application development using JSP, HTML, CSS/SASS, JQuery, Angular and NodeJS.
Experience in Agile methodologies (Kanban, SCRUM)
Knowledge of relational and NoSQL database management systems.
Excellent collaboration skills to work with multiple teams in the organization globally.
Strong team player and able to mentor junior team members.

Skills Required
