We are looking for highly qualified candidates for a contract positioned onsite at the Kirtland AFB in Albuquerque, NM supporting the Air Force Research Laboratory (AFRL) SSHINE contract.
Key Responsibilities:
- Write and maintain Java software used to establish connections for status & control of ground equipment.
- Deploy new containerized software applications in Kubernetes orchestration environment.
- Manage existing CI/CD pipelines and develop new deployment features.
- Perform software engineering support for systems implementation.
- Write and maintain Java software to support launch operations.
- Assist team members primarily on Java programming utilizing the Spring Boot framework.
- Develop and maintain React-based user interfaces.
- Assist with new customer requests by extending and enhancing existing capabilities and creating new ones where needed.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Education/ Years of Relevant Experience: 15+ years of experience with BS degree or 10+ years of experience with MS degree or 5+ years of experience with PhD degree
- Clearance: TS with eligibility for SCI Poly
- U.S. Citizenship is required for this position.
Required Skills:
- Experience and proficiency with Java programming language.
- Experience in Software design and development.
- Experience with Java build systems.
Preferred Skills:
- Knowledgeable with IDE for Java software development or other similar experience.
- Experience with Gitlab or other similar experience.
- Experience with NoSQL databases, such as MongoDB.
- Experience with Docker/Kubernetes.
- Experience using/writing Ansible automation scripts.
- Experience with C++ programming language.
- Working knowledge of SQL databases.
Skills Required
- Bachelor’s degree with 15+ years of relevant experience, master’s degree with 10+ years, or PhD with 5+ years
- Top Secret clearance with eligibility for SCI and polygraph
- U.S. citizenship
- Proficiency with Java programming
- Experience in software design and development
- Experience with Java build systems
- Knowledge of Java development IDEs or similar experience
- Experience with GitLab or similar tools
- Experience with NoSQL databases such as MongoDB
- Experience with Docker and Kubernetes
- Experience writing or using Ansible automation scripts
