About the Role
Persona is looking for motivated iOS and Android Engineers to join our Collection Flow team. Collaborate closely with product, design, and business teams on a small but high-impact team of mobile engineers. Your work will contribute to numerous top 100 apps across the App Store and Google Play Store by delivering high-performance, developer-friendly mobile SDKs that power identity verification at scale. You’ll play a pivotal role on some of the most strategic initiatives for our business and make an impact on the future of online identity. While Persona is headquartered in San Francisco, this team works remotely from locations across the United States and Canada.
What you'll do at Persona
- Leverage native mobile technologies to design, build, and ship best-in-class products. This may include full stack ownership to ensure seamless end-to-end user experience.
- Collaborate with product and design teams across our platform, and sometimes even customers, to define requirements and build solutions.
- Iterate quickly with small, progressive, and adaptive contributions.
- Design and maintain developer-friendly SDKs that prioritize simplicity, clarity, and seamless integration.
- Ensure efficient compilation, dependency management, and minimal binary size for performance-critical applications.
What you'll bring to Persona
- Experience - 2+ years of mobile software engineering experience at a fast-moving technology company.
- Mobile expertise - In depth knowledge of native UI frameworks (UIKit / XML Views), build systems (Xcode / Gradle), concurrent programming models (GCD / Coroutines), native camera frameworks (AVFoundation / CameraX), and native vision frameworks (Vision / MLKit).
- Relentless debugging - You’re driven to uncover the root cause of every issue. End-user and customer reports aren’t just tickets—they’re challenges you’re determined to solve.
- Product mindedness - You build products in a way that maximizes value while minimizing complexity. You can take something ambiguous and turn it into something concrete and built for scale.
- Innovative mindset - You go beyond implementing what is tasked and make product suggestions and features that help push our product forward. You are naturally curious and embrace change.

Compensation & equity
This salary range is the estimated base salary range. Base salaries are just one component of the total compensation package and are determined by a number of factors such as years of experience, expertise, qualifications and more. In addition to base salary, we offer competitive equity packages that play a big part in recognizing you for the huge impact you will have on helping us achieve our mission. Please note, the salary range is a guideline based on market data for roles located in the San Francisco Bay Area, and may vary depending on location.
