Software Engineer - Internship

Aletiq is building a first of its kind technical data platform for industrial manufacturing. Manufacturers still operate in a way in which data is fragmented, operational teams are siloed and errors are a source of recurrent quality problems. With manufactured products becoming increasingly complex, the existing model and tools to support it are not sustainable, and engineers need a new way to design and industrialise.

Our data platform creates a single source of truth to solve these challenges and drive transformation and collaboration in the industrial manufacturing sector. Aletiq touches every role in the industrial creation chain, enabling collaboration from concept to production and helping companies to become more innovative, efficient and cost effective. Our platform is already deployed in over 50 different factories across 10 countries and is currently used by thousands of people.

Having recently secured a €6m seed round from Point Nine, we are currently adding key hires to help accelerate and support our growth curve.

• Building an intuitive product: we rethink traditional PLM systems by bringing simplicity, speed, and flexibility to a legacy ecosystem.

• Raising the bar: product quality and performance are critical, small issues can have a major impact on industrial production lines.

• Solving complex problems: unifying product data with versioning, configuration management, hierarchical structures, and automation of business processes.

During your internship at Aletiq, you will work on our Aletiq AI feature and contribute to its design and implementation, including:

• Providing AI access to structured data through APIs

• Enabling AI to perform actions while maintaining full control and governance

You will work closely with Senior Software Engineers and AI Engineers from different technical backgrounds, learning through code reviews, design discussions, and day-to-day collaboration. You’ll be exposed to real architectural decisions and gain hands-on experience across the full development lifecycle, from problem framing to production delivery.

We built an AI platform fully hosted in Europe leveraging models from OpenAI and Mistral. It allows our users to access all data in Aletiq through a chat interface, making it easy for everyone to gain insight to data event when they don’t know how it’s structured.

We are still expanding the platform with more data points as well as offering the ability for AI agents to run in the background to perform long running task .

• Student in software engineering, computer science, applied mathematics or AI

• Some experience with development

• Ability to work autonomously and take ownership of features

• Strong communication and collaboration skills, ideally in both French and English

• Interest in software architecture and complex systems

• Motivation to grow quickly alongside the team and the company
