Why this role?
As a R&D Engineer Intern at Snyk, you'll use your development skills, passion, and problem-solving abilities to create software that ensures the security of other software products.
How You’ll Spend Your Time:
Collaborating with our engineers to understand project requirements and contribute meaningfully to the development process.
Leveraging best practices and modern technologies to maintain and extend our core services.
Working across the full stack and the entire development lifecycle to build, test, deploy, and support high-quality, reliable, and performant services.
Promoting code quality through active participation in code reviews and the application of engineering best practices.
Contributing directly to products that are used by developer communities around the world.
Networking across Snyk, joining "Impact" events, building professional soft skills, and engaging with a global cohort of early-career talent.
An eagerness to learn new technologies and a high degree of adaptability to change.
Familiarity with programming languages such as TypeScript or Go.
Foundational understanding of relational database design (e.g. PostgreSQL).
A proactive attitude and a sense of accountability, paired with the ability to work independently.
A passion for problem-solving and a desire to understand the "why" behind the code.
