Summer 2025 Internship Information- Real-world, hands on experience in the marketing technology industry (80% of work in internship role and 20% of internship with professional development/webinars/activities)

The Publisher Solutions team is responsible for developing and delivering innovative products that empower publishers to succeed in the digital landscape and includes products such as the Disqus commenting system and our Supply-Side Platform (SSP) for publishers to monetize their content. As a Software Engineer Intern on the Publisher Solutions team, you will work on a lean and agile team with the potential to make a large impact. You'll work closely with our engineers to design, develop, and deploy new features and functionality that drive real value for our publisher partners.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deploy new features and functionality for our publisher-facing products
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g. product, design) to ensure alignment and successful delivery of projects
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to the improvement of the overall codebase
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues
- Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code that adheres to industry standards and company best practices
- Develop and maintain unit tests and integration tests to ensure high-quality code
Work closely with senior engineers to learn from their expertise and gain hands-on experience with new technologies and tools
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree in computer science or related field
- Strong foundation in computer science fundamentals, including data structures, algorithms, and software design patterns
- Proficiency in one or more programming languages (e.g. Python, JavaScript, Java)
- Experience with web development technologies (e.g. HTML, CSS, React)
- Familiarity with database concepts and data storage solutions (e.g. relational databases)
- Experience with version control systems (e.g. Git)
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
- Strong interest in learning and growing as a software engineer
