The OpportunityFlock Safety is seeking a motivated Software Engineer Intern to join our dynamic engineering team. This internship offers a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on experience in designing, developing, and maintaining full-stack applications using cutting-edge technologies like React, Node.js and Go. You'll work alongside experienced engineers, contribute to real-world projects, and learn the fundamentals of building robust and high-performing systems.
This internship is located in Atlanta, GA, and requires the student to be willing to come onsite.
The SkillsetCurrently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
A solid understanding of fundamental programming concepts and data structures.
Familiarity with React, Node or Go
Basic understanding of RESTful APIs and web services.
Exposure to version control systems, preferably Git.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
A proactive and eager-to-learn attitude.

The Hiring Manager Interview: You will meet with your potential future boss to really dive into the role, the team, expectations, and what success means at Flock. This is your chance to really nerd out with someone in your field.
Panel: Learn more about the team, responsibilities, and workflows. You should be prepared to speak about past projects, how you collaborate and communicate with others, and how you live our values.
In this role, you’ll receive an hourly rate of $30/hr. This is a full-time internship.

At Flock Safety, we compensate our employees fairly for their work. Base salary is determined by job-related experience, education/training, as well as market indicators. The range above is representative of base salary only and does not include equity, sales bonus plans (when applicable) and benefits. This range may be modified in the future.
