Job Summary:

Impiricus is seeking a Software Engineer Intern for a 12-week paid internship to support core product development and infrastructure projects. This is a hands-on opportunity for a student who is interested in learning about building scalable, high-impact technology in a fast-paced startup environment. You’ll work closely with experienced engineers, gain real-world experience with cloud infrastructure (AWS), and contribute to meaningful projects that support our mission of transforming healthcare communication.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with building internal and client-facing reports.
• Support the migration from Terraform Cloud to a new Terraform state management tool.
• Contribute to the development of a scheduler MVP product.
• Collaborate with the Product and Engineering teams to ensure alignment with technical goals.
• Participate in daily standups, sprint planning, and retrospectives as part of the agile process.

Qualifications

Required:

• Actively pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Strong interest in backend development, cloud platforms, and software infrastructure.
• Experience with at least one programming language (e.g., Python, JavaScript, or Go).
• Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred:

• Experience with Python, SQL, or another backend programming language.
• Exposure to or interest in data science and machine learning concepts.

Additional Details

• 12-week paid internship with flexible start date.
• Up to 30 hours per week.
• $18/hour
• Mentorship and hands-on experience
